DONATIONS POLICY

AarogyaShree Foundation ("Foundation") is a Section 8 Company (Non-Profit Organisation) incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 and committed to advancing healthcare, education, research, skill development, public welfare, and community development initiatives.
This Donations Policy explains how donations are accepted, administered, and utilised by the Foundation.
PURPOSE OF DONATIONS
Donations received by the Foundation are used to support its charitable and non-profit objectives, including but not limited to:
• Healthcare and public health initiatives
• Medical, diagnostic, and health awareness programmes
• Education and literacy programmes
• Research and scientific initiatives
• Skill development and vocational training
• Community welfare and rural development projects
• Capacity building and institutional development
• Administrative and operational activities necessary to achieve charitable objectives
VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS
All donations made to the Foundation are voluntary.
Donors should ensure that the information provided during the donation process is accurate and complete.
ACCEPTANCE OF DONATIONS
The Foundation reserves the right to accept, decline, return, or discontinue any donation where:
• Required by law;
• Donor identity cannot be reasonably verified;
• The source of funds appears unlawful or suspicious;
• The donation may adversely affect the Foundation's integrity, independence, reputation, or legal compliance;
• Acceptance would violate applicable laws, regulations, or organisational policies.
RESTRICTED AND UNRESTRICTED DONATIONS
A. Unrestricted Donations
Unless specifically designated by the donor and accepted by the Foundation, donations shall be treated as unrestricted and may be utilised where most needed in support of the Foundation's objectives.
B. Restricted Donations
Where a donor specifies a particular programme, project, initiative, or purpose, the Foundation shall make reasonable efforts to utilise such funds accordingly.
If the specified purpose becomes impractical, unlawful, completed, discontinued, or impossible to implement, the Foundation may redirect the funds to a substantially similar charitable purpose.
DONOR INFORMATION
The Foundation respects donor privacy and handles donor information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
The Foundation does not sell, rent, or trade donor information to third parties.
TAX BENEFITS
Donors are advised that tax benefits, deductions, exemptions, or concessions are governed solely by applicable laws and valid registrations available at the relevant time.
At present, any tax benefit shall be subject to the Foundation obtaining and maintaining the relevant statutory approvals, registrations, and certifications.
Donors are advised to seek independent tax advice where necessary.
RECEIPTS
The Foundation shall endeavour to issue appropriate donation acknowledgements or receipts for eligible donations received through authorised channels.
Issuance of a receipt does not automatically imply eligibility for any tax deduction or benefit.
DONATION METHODS
Donations may be accepted through authorised channels approved by the Foundation, including:
• Bank transfer
• UPI
• Payment gateways
• Cheque
• Demand Draft
• Other approved digital payment methods
The Foundation may modify available payment methods at any time.
ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING AND COMPLIANCE
The Foundation may conduct reasonable due diligence and verification measures in accordance with applicable laws and internal compliance requirements.
Where required, additional information may be requested from donors before acceptance of a contribution.
FOREIGN CONTRIBUTIONS
The Foundation shall accept foreign contributions only in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory approvals, including the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 ("FCRA"), where applicable.
Until such approvals are obtained, foreign contributions may not be accepted.
USE OF FUNDS
The Foundation shall endeavour to utilise donations responsibly, transparently, and in furtherance of its charitable objects.
The Foundation retains discretion regarding operational implementation, project administration, resource allocation, and programme execution.
NO OWNERSHIP OR CONTROL RIGHTS
A donation does not create any ownership interest, voting right, governance right, management right, partnership, employment relationship, agency relationship, or control over the Foundation.
REFUND OF DONATIONS
Refund requests shall be governed by the Foundation's Refund & Cancellation Policy.
POLICY CHANGES
The Foundation reserves the right to amend, modify, update, or replace this Donations Policy at any time.
The revised version shall become effective upon publication on the Website.
